Clifton, VA

Clifton is located in Fairfax County, bounded by Lee Highway to the North, the Occoquan River to the south, Colchester Road to the east and Bull Run Stream to the West. The historical town of Clifton is right in the middle of the surrounding area also called Clifton. The real estate values are higher in the town due to the historic significance. Each home has a sign detailing its history. The countryside surrounding is dotted with farmhouses on 3-5 acre lots. There is not much noise, except for the train that goes thru it 36 times a day. Owners do not mind this, for it gives it a small town feel. The 2 lane roads in the area make commuting a challenge.
